The Regent International building in Hangzhou, China, has left many in awe due to its massive capacity. According to advertisements, the building can accommodate approximately 30,000 people.
It is known that Regent International spans over 260,000 square meters, making it one of the largest residential buildings in China. Initially, the building was constructed as a 6-star hotel with an opulently decorated lobby. However, it has gradually transformed its purpose and was redesigned into a rental apartment complex.

Regent International is located in the Century City area of Tiền Giang, a region developed with the expectation of becoming a new multifunctional urban center, conveniently situated just a 2 to 4-minute walk from the subway.
Though it claims to have a capacity of up to 30,000 people, a survey conducted by Mandy News estimates that the building can realistically provide accommodation for a maximum of around 20,000 people and that the figure of 30,000 residents is an exaggeration. Even with its current population, the Regent International apartment complex remains one of the most densely populated areas in the world.
The building offers various amenities.
Inside the building, residents have access to a wide range of amenities including dining areas, a swimming pool, nail salons, supermarkets, and coffee shops. Residents do not need to leave the premises to meet all their daily needs.
The building contains thousands of apartments, with an average size of about 15 square meters. According to Sina, smaller windowless apartments typically rent for around 1,500 yuan (approximately 5.2 million VND), while larger apartments with balconies can cost up to 4,000 yuan (about 14 million VND) per month or more.
