ThinkPad laptops have always been associated with a mysterious black color and a powerful configuration. Under Lenovo’s guidance, the ThinkPad Z60 series introduces a completely new feature: a widescreen display.
The Z60 series includes two models differentiated by functionality: the Z60m is tailored for movie and gaming enthusiasts, equipped with a 15.4″ screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and enhanced graphics processing capabilities with a higher-end graphics card; the Z60t features a slim and lightweight design for dynamic professionals. The Z60t has a smaller screen (14″) and weighs only 2.25 kg.
Additionally, this series offers various configurations to suit distinct customer needs. Both the Z60t and Z60m models arrived in the United States earlier this week and are expected to reach the Asia-Pacific region within the next 1-2 months.
The ThinkPad Z60 continues to support premium features for business professionals as seen in its predecessors: the Active Protection System for hard disk drives and the Roll Cage system to protect internal components. The Active Protection System safeguards the laptop’s hard drive from damage due to drops and collisions while maintaining stability during operation to prevent data loss. The Roll Cage system encases the internal hardware components in a resilient protective frame, reducing the impact force by up to 30%.

The laptop also features biometric security, allowing for fingerprint login and the use of ThinkPad’s proprietary security software. With wireless connectivity options including Wi-Fi, infrared, Bluetooth, and battery life of up to 5.5 hours, the Z60 is almost ready for any application and can accompany you anywhere.
However, these laptops have a single drawback: poor anti-glare performance, making them less suitable for outdoor use in direct sunlight.
With a three-year warranty, comprehensive wireless connectivity options, sleek hardware design, a widescreen display ideal for watching DVDs, and careful attention to security software, the Z60 can be considered a well-rounded product line suitable for any customer base.
