A recent study has demonstrated that excessive smoking leads to impotence in marital relationships. This study was conducted with over 8,000 participants aged between 15 and 60 years.
Scientists have proven that the risk of ejaculation disorders in those who smoke more than 20 cigarettes daily is 40% higher than in non-smokers.
The risk of this dysfunction is even greater in older individuals or those suffering from diabetes or cardiovascular diseases due to smoking.
This study provides another reason to discourage smoking. In Europe, in an effort to minimize the number of smokers, regulatory authorities have required tobacco manufacturers to print the warning “Cigarettes – The Culprit of Impotence” prominently on cigarette packs.
