On January 4th, a major Japanese automotive manufacturer unveiled its new self-driving vehicle design named Concept-i, a masterpiece for the space age.
The exterior design of this new product has been likened by customers to a vehicle straight out of a science fiction movie.
The car is designed for four passengers, but that is the only similarity Concept-i shares with current vehicle models.
Toyota Concept-i vehicle.
According to the designers, this futuristic automobile features doors made entirely of glass, allowing passengers to fully enjoy the surrounding scenery while driving.
Additionally, the Concept-i is equipped with a display mounted on the rear frame of the vehicle, capable of running a warning message “Caution” for any vehicles approaching from behind.
Despite its advanced self-driving technology, the vehicle still requires a human driver. The autonomous driving feature is only activated in situations where the driving becomes difficult or dangerous.
The market price for the vehicle is still unclear.
The manufacturer plans to begin testing the Concept-i model over the next few years. However, for this masterpiece to actually hit the market, we may have to wait until 2030.
