The benefits of onions go beyond just being a spice that enhances the flavor of dishes or providing relief from colds and headaches with a hot bowl of onion porridge. Onions are also an effective remedy for treating worms in both children and adults.

Here are two onion remedies that can effectively treat worms without being expensive or toxic:
For Roundworm Treatment:
Take 30g of local onions (both bulbs and leaves), wash them thoroughly, and chop them finely. Heat some canola oil in a pan and then add the chopped onions to sauté. It is important to use high heat and stir quickly.
Give the sautéed onions with canola oil to the child in the early morning, right after waking up. After about 2 hours, the child can eat and drink normally.
Using this remedy continuously for 3 days will effectively eliminate worms and is non-toxic to the body.
Treating Biliary Worms:
Wash fresh onions thoroughly, pound them into a paste, and extract 30g of juice. Then mix this onion juice with 30g of tea oil (which can be substituted with peanut oil or sesame oil) for consumption. It is also possible to drink each ingredient separately, but with a few minutes in between.
