Keyboard Music provides you with a keyboard interface that has been encoded into musical keys, numbered from 1 to 7 corresponding to the 7 musical notes: Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si, with keys marked with a # representing a sharp note. In total, the keys on your keyboard can represent up to 45 musical notes, more than enough to play any piece of music from both Eastern and Western traditions throughout history.
Each instrument has the ability to produce many unique tonal qualities. For instance, if you select the basic sound type as Piano from the “Instrument” menu, Keyboard Music will allow you to choose from 8 unique tonal qualities of the Piano… Similarly, with a total of 16 different instruments, you can play up to… 128 completely different sounds on your computer “organ,” rivaling any modern organ. Additionally, to adjust the pitch of the tones, you can enter the “Mode” or “Keystroke” menu.
Your sole task is to memorize the positions of the musical notes and chords before officially “performing.” With the compact and flexible nature of the computer keyboard combined with long-term practice, you will be able to perform any piece of music that will astonish even conservatory pianists.
To record all your “performances,” press the “Record” button before you start playing and hit “Finish” when you are done. To listen back, press “Play,” or press “Circle Play” to continuously replay your “composition.”
