Recently, a pair of twins in the United States has attracted significant attention from netizens. The reason is that although they are twins, these babies were born in two different years.

Specifically, the mother of the twins, Fatima Madrigal, gave birth to baby Alfredo Antonio Trujillo at 11:45 PM on December 31, 2021, and baby Aylin Yolanda Trujillo at 12:00 AM on January 1, 2022.
Interestingly, the twins Alfredo and Aylin were born just minutes apart, yet they have completely different birth years due to their timing around the New Year.
The doctors at Natividad Medical Center in California, where the twins were born, stated that this was “one of the most memorable births of their careers.“
“It’s wonderful to welcome the New Year in such an exciting way. We will never forget these two girls.”
Both twins were born healthy and are on their way home to celebrate the New Year with their father, mother, two older sisters, and one older brother.
