A residential tower over 100 stories tall with a slender design and unique “diamond crown” on top begins construction in Dubai.
The UAE real estate development company Binghatti has partnered with luxury jewelry brand Jacob & Co to construct a new building in the Business Bay area of Dubai, which is expected to become the tallest residential building in the world upon completion, Design Boom reported on November 17. The CEO of Binghatti, Muhammad Binghatti, and the president of Jacob & Co, Jacob Arabo, visited the construction site and announced the groundbreaking of the building on November 15.

The new building, named Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences, will consist of over 100 stories, but the specific height has not yet been disclosed. Meanwhile, the current tallest residential building in the world, Central Park Tower, has 98 stories and is located in New York City, USA, standing at 472.4 meters tall.
Design images show that Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences features a slender shape, topped with a structure resembling a crown, with tower-like spires that sparkle like diamonds reaching straight into the sky.
“We drew inspiration from the intricate movements of Jacob & Co watches and integrated them into the key elements of the building. The diamond-shaped spires at the top of the building evoke the image of a crown. This is an exquisite and unique decorative detail inspired by the expertly cut gemstones of Jacob & Co,” Binghatti stated.
Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences will include two and three-bedroom apartments, luxurious penthouses, and a variety of amenities such as an infinity pool overlooking Downtown Dubai, a gym, and a spa. The building will also offer special services with security personnel, private drivers, and personal chefs.
