The International UFO Institute, based in Fukushima, Japan, has reported 452 UFO sightings in the past year.
The privately-owned International UFO Institute, established in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, in the summer of 2021, recently announced the results of its first year of operations.
The institute is led by Takeharu Mikami, the editor-in-chief of the magazine Mu, which focuses on supernatural phenomena and mysterious mysteries.

This region has long been famous for UFO sightings around Mount Senganmori.
Mikami told reporters that his researchers have recorded 452 UFO sightings in the past year, 125 of which are supported by photographs and 24 by video evidence.
According to him, all materials have been analyzed using special software to ensure they are not forgeries.
However, only a few images have been widely published. They capture what appear to be unidentified disc-shaped objects in the sky.
“It’s not a bird. It could very well be a UFO,” Mikami commented on one of the photographs.
Local authorities have dubbed Iinomachi the “hometown of aliens in Japan.” The local UFO Fureaikan Museum has a collection of about 3,000 documents on this subject.
