In the wild, marine eels are known to be among the most fearsome predators in the oceans. With a body length of over 3 meters, weighing up to 25 kilograms, and possessing sharp jaws, they can hunt a variety of fish for food.
Even small sharks can become a delicious meal for marine eels if they let their guard down. A prime example is shown in the clip below, where an unfortunate shark falls victim to a marine eel.
After a few minutes of struggle with its prey, the marine eel managed to swallow the shark whole. However, due to the size of the shark being too large for its stomach capacity, it had to give up its meal.
Interestingly, after being expelled by the marine eel, the shark survived and will surely remember this valuable lesson for the rest of its life.
