SanDisk Corporation (USA) has recently introduced a solution that allows users of Skype’s Internet phone service to quickly make calls from any computer, regardless of whether the system has the world’s most popular VoIP software installed.

In fact, Skype’s software is pre-installed on the U3 platform smart storage devices known as Cruzer Micro and Cruzer Titanium from SanDisk. U3 allows applications on the storage device to operate entirely independently without needing to copy or leave any “traces” on the host computer.
As a result, Skype users can save their accounts, contact lists, and other settings onto the Cruzer Micro or Cruzer Titanium, and then plug it into a USB port on any PC to make free calls whenever they need.
The latest U3 devices from SanDisk also include antivirus programs, file synchronization, and password management tools. U3 is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP and 2000 operating systems.
The SanDisk Cruzer Micro bundled with Skype is priced from $40 to $200, depending on capacity options of 512 MB, 1 GB, and 2 GB. Meanwhile, the Cruzer Titanium comes in two versions—1 GB and 2 GB—priced at $75 and $120, respectively.
