On June 7th, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications awarded certificates of merit to 5 enterprises that excelled in production, business, and software industry development, as well as 5 enterprises that distinguished themselves in the production, business, and development of digital content industry in 2005. VDC was recognized by the Ministry for its achievements in the field of digital content industry development.
According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hong, this is the third consecutive year that the Ministry, with the support of Motorola, has organized this program to facilitate the development of high-level human resources, enhance capabilities, and improve the quality management processes of software enterprises. This program has contributed to raising awareness among enterprises about applying industrial production processes, fostering a movement to build and apply Capability Maturity Model (CMM) processes within Vietnamese software companies. Additionally, the program has provided significant support in researching and developing a digital content industry development program for the period 2006-2010.
The award-winning software industry enterprises include: FPT Software; Paragon Solutions Vietnam; Tuong Minh Private Service Enterprise; Da Nang Software Technology Center; CMC Communications Computer Company.
The award-winning digital content industry enterprises include: Datacom and Telecommunication (VDC); Software and Communication Company (VASC); Tinh Van Company; HPT Informatics Services Joint Stock Company; AZ Solution Software Joint Stock Company.
On the same day, the Ministry and Motorola also summarized the collaboration program for 2005 and awarded scholarships to 31 outstanding students from several universities.
