On the afternoon of July 9th, 1,700 cars from all over the country completed the program “Record Car Arrangement in the Shape of the Map of Vietnam.”
On the evening of July 9th, the Vietnam Record Organization (VietKings) officially awarded OTV Media and VinFast the decision to establish a record for “The Largest Number of Cars Arranged to Form the Map of Vietnam.”
This record exceeded the previous world record for the largest car arrangement, conducted on a site of over 16 hectares at Dragon Hill (Do Son, Hai Phong). The confirmed number of cars was 1,680 vehicles. VietKings verified the record by counting each vehicle model through aerial photographs taken by a drone.
“Despite unfavorable weather conditions, with continuous rain for several days, including on the day of the car arrangement on July 9th, which had a significant impact, the record for the car arrangement was still excellently completed.
If we consider the number of participating cars, this is a milestone that will likely stand for many years, even on a global scale. This is not only a record for car arrangement but also a testament to the determination of the thousands of people present at today’s event,” said Mr. Nguyen Dai Hoang, General Director of OTV Media and head of the organizing committee.

According to information from the organizing committee, the idea for the record car arrangement in the shape of the map of Vietnam was conceived at the beginning of 2021. However, due to difficulties in finding a suitable location and the prolonged outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the program could not be carried out as initially planned.
Statistics show that nearly 2,000 car owners from dozens of provinces across the country and over 200 volunteers from Hai Phong participated in the car arrangement.
