At Yala National Park in Sri Lanka, a herd of wild buffalo is calmly grazing, unaware that they are in the sights of a fearsome predator. The target of this hunter is a young calf.
The leopard attempts to catch the calf, but the mother buffalo attacks and it has to flee.
Although the calf is closely following its mother, when she turns her head in another direction, the predator lunges like an arrow to attack the calf. It turns out that the lurking predator is a leopard.
However, its calculations were wrong; the mother buffalo reacted very quickly and turned to attack the leopard. Not only that, but other buffaloes also rushed in to assist, forcing the leopard to flee to save its own life.
