The rain of fish is a rare phenomenon, usually caused by waterspouts lifting marine creatures from the surface of the water and dropping them at a different location. This extraordinary event was reported in Yasuj, Iran, on the morning of May 4.
The clip documenting the incident shows dozens of fish falling right next to vehicles traveling on the road.
Mario Nawfal, the owner of the viral clip on social media, stated: “Suddenly fish fell from the sky. The cause is still unknown, but they must be real fish.”
