The stunt pilot has left the world in awe with his incredible feat of flying through two tunnels in Istanbul, Turkey.
The daring flight was completed in just 43.44 seconds.
Costa, an Italian pilot, performed an extremely risky stunt by flying his plane through two road tunnels in Turkey, setting five world records in the process.
Specifically, after flying through the first tunnel, which is 360 meters long, he continued to navigate through the second tunnel, measuring 1,160 meters. The entire daring flight took only 43.44 seconds.
It is known that stabilizing an aircraft in such a narrow space is incredibly challenging, requiring the pilot to handle the aircraft with great skill.
After this daring challenge, pilot Costa set 5 world records recognized by Guinness World Records, which include:
- The longest tunnel flight in the world.
- The flight through a tunnel.
- The longest flight through a solid structure.
- The first flight to pass through two tunnels.
- The first flight to take off from a tunnel.
