A video capturing an unidentified flying object (UFO), also known as a flying disc, hovering over the sky of Curitiba, southern Brazil, is rapidly spreading across social media.

According to RT, the footage was recorded on July 21 and uploaded to YouTube by user Zona Desconhecida. The video shows a triangular object hovering in the sky over Curitiba. As the cameraman zooms in for a closer look, the object appears to have landing gear resembling a chassis.
In the caption accompanying the footage, the user wrote: “I never believed in flying discs until I saw this video. At first, I thought it was a drone, but it had no propellers. Then I thought it was a balloon, but its trajectory was straight and something resembling landing gear appeared.”
Zona Desconhecida later uploaded a second video providing a clearer view of the flying object, which looks transparent on both sides and seems to change shape slightly while in flight.
The video has garnered over 25,000 views on YouTube and has been shared across social media platforms at a rapid pace. Internet users quickly speculated about the nature and origin of the object, with some labeling it as the “clearest flying disc video in history.”
According to local media, the Brazilian Air Force has been unable to verify the footage. A spokesperson for the Air Force stated that they have “some hypotheses” but no “explanation” for the sighting at this time.
