Deputy Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Vu Duc Dam announced that the foundational model for digital signatures and digital signature authentication services is expected to be completed by next May. The Ministry will present a decree regarding this sector to the Government in September.
Deputy Minister Vu Duc Dam shared this information at the specialized workshop titled “Application of Digital Signatures and Digital Signature Authentication Services,” organized by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications on April 6 in Hanoi.
This workshop is the first of four planned sessions that the Ministry will host in the near future to gather feedback from experts in the information technology field and businesses utilizing these services.
The Electronic Transactions Law has been in effect since March 1. Relevant authorities are continuing to develop decrees related to this area, including the decree on digital signature authentication.
