A Japanese watch manufacturer has announced the creation of the world’s first flexible wall clock, thin as a film and capable of bending around a corner.
This clock is only 3 millimeters thick and offers a sharp view from various angles, even in low visibility or strong sunlight, compared to traditional clocks, according to Citizen Watch.
“It can be placed along the wall of a building or on the round columns of train stations or office buildings, allowing people to see the time from very different positions,” a company spokesperson stated.
The clock, measuring 53 centimeters wide and 130 centimeters long, displays the time in black numbers. It consumes less power than traditional wall clocks and has a battery life that is 20 times longer.
Citizen plans to begin production early next year, with each clock priced at approximately 500,000 to 600,000 yen (around 69-82 million Vietnamese dong).
