This so-called “miraculous” drink, making its global debut, is named “Formas Luso.” It comes in lemon, strawberry, and mango flavors. The manufacturer, Central de Cervejas e Bebidas, states that the drink contains soluble fibers designed to help suppress hunger.
Central de Cervejas e Bebidas will launch this weight loss beverage in the Portuguese market on April 28 and plans to export the product to the United States and Canada.
The company has invested €4.5 million in the development of this drink and will spend €6 million on marketing the product. Their goal is to create a completely new beverage that meets the needs of the Portuguese population, where half of the population is overweight.
