This is a major industry in the region, providing jobs for millions of Filipinos, especially when the sugar production industry – which is the economic backbone of the province – faces difficulties. He added: “When the sugar industry encounters challenges that threaten our livelihoods, it is the cockfighting industry that has stepped up to fill the gap. Therefore, the rooster hotel is also a tribute to this industry, with the hope that those who love the tradition of cockfighting will choose this place as their ideal stop.”
