Luxury cruises have always been among the most extravagant experiences for the elite. Recently, the world’s largest cruise ship, the “Wonder of the Seas,” embarked on its maiden voyage, and the images shared reveal it to be nothing short of a floating city.
Measuring over 350 meters in length and 60 meters in width, this colossal vessel boasts a total capacity of nearly 240,000 tons. It features 18 decks, 8 different accommodation zones, and can host up to 7,000 guests along with 2,300 crew members. This “monument” took 3 years to build and is valued at $1 billion.
Notably, the top two decks are reserved for the “Suite Neighborhood”—similar to a first-class cabin with 188 rooms. Another remarkable area is the “Ultimate Family Suite.” Each room here can accommodate up to 10 people, complete with a private cinema, slide, karaoke room, and ping pong table. The rental price for a room in these areas can reach up to £48,000 (approximately 1.36 billion VND) per week.
According to the deputy director of the cruise management company, “Wonder of the Seas” is designed for passengers of all ages. Moreover, despite the staggering prices mentioned above, the “Suite Neighborhood” is even more popular than standard rooms.

In addition to luxurious accommodations, the ship is also distinguished by countless restaurants, cafes, bars, entertainment areas, and art performances. Not every area is exorbitantly priced; some standard cabins are available for around £700 (20 million VND).
Most services are not restricted by room class. According to travel journalist Lesley Bellew, many restaurants and entertainment activities are provided free of charge. However, some restaurants serving specialties and higher-end dishes like sushi may charge extra fees. Notably, the main dining area spans 3 decks.
For guests willing to spend more, they can pay a few hundred dollars each time to dine in specialty restaurants or relax at the spas located throughout the ship.
