Various types of bees, such as mosquitoes, yellow jackets, and hornets, sting humans when they accidentally collide with their nests. The honeybee sting is particularly venomous. Here are six treatment methods:
– Apply slaked lime to the sting site immediately after being stung.
– Crush and apply the seeds or leaves of the bitter orange plant to the sting site.
– Mash bamboo shoots and apply them to the sting site.
– Use tobacco soaked in water to apply to the sting site.
– Cut a slice of wild taro and rub it on the sting site.
– Crush the leaves, stems, or tubers of the golden trumpet plant and apply them to the sting site.
Tick Bites:
When bitten by a tick, do not rush to pull it out, as this may cause the tick’s head to break off, making it harder to treat later. Here are some removal methods:
– Apply oil or alcohol to the bite area; the tick will release itself and fall off. After that, apply slaked lime to the bite.
– Use a small needle or a heated metal wire and insert it into the tick’s body, causing it to fall off naturally; then apply slaked lime to the bite.
– If the tick’s head remains embedded in the skin, it can cause pain, discomfort, and potentially a fever. Apply tobacco soaked in water to the bite site, then cover it with a bandage.
