According to local authorities, the lion cub is a pet of the woman’s family. Prior to this, the lion cub was wandering on the street, causing panic among residents. Some people called the police. By the time the Kuwait police arrived at the scene, the woman had already taken the lion cub away.
After the clip was posted on social media, many expressed admiration for the woman’s bravery. However, some opinions also stated that holding a lion cub in one’s arms is an extremely dangerous act.
It is known that many exotic animals, including lions, are legally kept as pets in Kuwait.
