These two events attracted the participation of 300 international delegates from 40 countries, along with leading Vietnamese scientists. Professor Dr. Dang Hung Vo, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, was invited to be the Honorary President of the conference.
The 26th Asian Remote Sensing Conference, organized by the Asian Remote Sensing Association, the Vietnam Remote Sensing Association, and the Vietnam Geography Association, took place from November 7 to 11, 2005, in Hanoi. Additionally, the second Asian Space Conference was held from November 8 to 11, 2005, in Hanoi.
This is an annual activity of the Asian Remote Sensing Association aimed at exchanging the latest information in the fields of remote sensing technology, space, photogrammetry, geographic information systems, and many other applications. During the conference, there was also an exhibition showcasing the latest remote sensing and space technologies from leading organizations and companies worldwide.
