A French free diver has set a world record by swimming the farthest distance under ice on a single breath.
Arthur Guerin-Boeri sets a record for swimming in cold water at 0.7 degrees Celsius.
The French news agency AFP reported that Arthur Guerin-Boeri set a world record by swimming 105 meters under the ice in Quebec, Canada on March 8.
Guerin-Boeri completed the distance in 2 minutes and 27 seconds in water that was 0.7 degrees Celsius.
In March 2021, Guerin-Boeri set a world record in Finland by performing a frog kick while breath-holding continuously under the ice, completing a distance of 120 meters in 3 minutes.
