While trying to catch a python and put it in a sack, a man was unexpectedly wrapped by the creature and choked.
Witnessing this scene, many people appeared frightened.
While clearing bushes around a village in Kerala, India, 58-year-old Bhuvachandran Nair spotted a wild python measuring 3 meters long.
Immediately, he asked those nearby for help in catching it. However, as Bhuvachandran attempted to stuff the creature into a sack, it suddenly reared up and wrapped tightly around his neck. Seeing his signals, colleagues rushed in to help untangle the python.
In the recorded clip, Bhuvachandran struggled to maintain his balance while two locals grabbed the tail and head of the snake to lift it off his neck. Many onlookers were visibly alarmed by the scene.
Thanks to the combined effort of four men, the python was eventually stuffed into a sack and handed over to forest rangers for release back into the wild.
