NASA Scientist Claims to Know Where to Find Extraterrestrial Life.

For many years, scientists have been searching for evidence of life in the universe. Some planets, such as Mars and Venus, have provided hope in the form of microorganisms, such as methanogens. In 2019, efforts were intensified after the Curiosity rover detected traces of methane in the atmosphere of the Red Planet.
However, further investigations yielded no results. Then, a breakthrough discovery of phosphine on Venus—a toxic gas whose presence often indicates the existence of life—was made. Yet again, nothing was found.
Despite this, efforts in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) and messaging extraterrestrial intelligence (METI) have surged since the beginning of the decade.
So much so that in 2015, then-NASA scientist Ellen Stofan declared that by 2025, scientists might discover the first signs of extraterrestrial life in space.
Speaking at a discussion focused on the agency’s efforts to search for habitable worlds and extraterrestrial life, she stated: “I think we will have strong signs of life beyond Earth within a decade, and I think we will have definitive evidence within 20 to 30 years. We know where to look.” This scientist confidently asserted.
