It is not just clouds transforming into rain and falling to the ground, but rather a cloud has actually descended to the earth, leaving onlookers in disbelief. Netizens have even felt as though this was some kind of “magic.” So, what is this phenomenon really?
There are many fascinating or strange phenomena that occur with clouds in the sky, but what about clouds actually falling to the ground?
It sounds like something out of a fantasy story, where characters ride on clouds and then land, but this phenomenon has truly occurred, leaving witnesses amazed and astonished.
The cloud falling to the ground.
This video, recently posted on social media, has garnered nearly 600,000 views and tens of thousands of likes. It shows a small cloud actually descending from the sky to the ground.
Those who witnessed this phenomenon were very surprised. Some individuals in uniforms hurried to where the cloud “landed.”
Even after reaching the ground, the cloud did not dissipate but remained still, resembling a giant cotton candy. Consequently, more and more people rushed over to take a look, gathering around and even contemplating hugging the strange cloud.

Several news outlets have confirmed the event, stating that this phenomenon occurred in a mining area in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.
According to the Indonesian news site VOI, Andri Ramdhani, the director of the Indonesian Meteorological Agency, believes that what appears in the video is not a natural cloud, but rather condensation or some gas resulting from human activities in the mining area. Specifically, this “cloud” may have formed due to mining activities releasing a type of high-pressure gas, combined with low temperatures and high humidity at that moment.
Mr. Andri also affirmed that natural clouds cannot descend to the ground while maintaining their shape like that.
However, there is still no specific information on what type of gas created this cloud.
