A senior legislator has announced that the Senate Armed Services Committee is preparing to hold a hearing aimed at enhancing the credibility of the Pentagon’s office responsible for investigating unidentified flying objects (UFOs). The announcement regarding the hearing comes just two weeks after a video of a “massive UFO” featuring “tons of flashing and swirling lights” was posted on Reddit.
At the end of August, many people in Montana reported a strange sighting, describing it as a ‘massive’ UFO with numerous swirling flashing lights, located approximately 100 km from a U.S. Air Force nuclear weapons base. Witnesses expressed their astonishment, with some shaking and crying due to the experience.
The video of the “massive UFO” with “tons of flashing and swirling lights,” uploaded by witnesses on Reddit, has attracted significant public interest.
While some speculated that the phenomenon could be attributed to Elon Musk’s Starlink communication satellite constellation, witnesses promptly disagreed.
“I’m familiar with Starlink videos. We observed the object closely and could clearly see lights surrounding the silhouette of a large spacecraft,” one witness reported.
The man indicated that the incident occurred around 10 PM local time on August 31, adding that his wife was “shaking and crying from the experience.”
“The images aren’t frightening, but witnessing something you genuinely believe to be a massive object in the quiet night sky flying overhead and heading towards your home brings a lot more emotion,” the witness shared.
An investigation is underway on Capitol Hill as numerous American civilians have also reported seeing UFOs. Many have raised questions regarding the activities of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), established in July 2022, which is the government agency responsible for investigating reports of unidentified aerial phenomena.
A hovering object with numerous flashing lights has led many to believe it is a UFO, stirring considerable excitement.
Following the incident, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a Democrat from New York, stated that she is working to schedule a major hearing in the coming weeks to publicly share information.
According to Gillibrand, this hearing will aim to restore public trust in the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) following a series of military accusations regarding government cover-ups of potential encounters with extraterrestrial beings.
During the hearing, “a progress report on the number of unidentified aerial phenomena [UAP] that AARO has assessed and analyzed, detailing what AARO has confirmed and what remains unidentified” will be made public.
Gillibrand emphasized, “This hearing is a top priority for me because I believe it is crucial to disclose all information.”
She also encouraged the public to report their UFO sightings to AARO’s UFO hunters.
