The Sky Cruise Hotel: A Floating Nuclear-Powered Hotel for 5,000 Guests
If you love movies like ‘Star Wars’ or superhero animated series featuring gigantic spaceships, the new hotel being dubbed a ‘spectacular leap’ in the tourism industry will surely astonish you. What was once a mere concept in science fiction is soon becoming a reality.
This hotel hovers in the air and never lands.
Sky Cruise is the world’s first floating hotel powered by nuclear energy. Notably, it is controlled by artificial intelligence technology and is equipped with 20 engines powered by nuclear fusion reactions.
This uniquely designed hotel operates 24/7, enabling it to remain suspended in the atmosphere without ever landing. Designed by Hashem Al-Ghaili, repairs can even be conducted while it is hovering in the sky.
Inside the hotel, there are numerous luxurious rooms, large event spaces, various entertainment options, amenities, a shopping center, a sports center, swimming pools, cinemas, and more. Guests will experience breathtaking 360-degree views from the sky.
One distinguishing feature of this hotel is that guests do not stay for just a day; their stays can last several weeks or even months.
Repairs can be conducted while hovering in the sky.
Al-Ghaili praises this aircraft as “the future of transportation.” When asked who would pilot this massive vessel, Al-Ghaili responded, “With all the modern technology, do you still want a pilot at the controls? I believe this will be the best unmanned vehicle ever.”
However, despite planning for an unmanned journey, Al-Ghaili also wants to ensure that there are plenty of staff available on Sky Cruise at all times.
A promotional video for the vessel has gone viral on social media, garnering a variety of opinions from online users.
“I feel this is where all the rich people will hide during the apocalypse,” “The ticket price will surely be exorbitant,” “Is this the new Titanic? Will its fate be different?” “I think if a nuclear-powered aircraft encounters an issue, it could destroy a city,” “Although this is an incredibly interesting design and entirely feasible with current technology, the cost will definitely be astronomical and only accessible to the ultra-wealthy,” netizens commented.
