An artificial intelligence model developed by a team of international researchers has demonstrated the ability to predict future events in people’s lives.
According to Oddity Central, the Life2vec model, created by scientists in Denmark and the United States, utilizes a vast amount of data to forecast various aspects of individual lives.

After being provided with demographic and health data for 6 million people in Denmark—including birth dates, education, income, housing, and health—the AI model was trained to predict future occurrences.
The scientists noted that Life2vec also has the unique ability to predict when a person will pass away based on data analysis. For instance, when tested on a group of individuals aged 35 to 65, half of whom died between 2016 and 2020, the algorithm predicted their lifespan with an accuracy of 78%.
Professor Sune Lehmann Jørgensen, the lead scientist at the Technical University of Denmark, pointed out that Life2vec was exclusively trained on data from Denmark, which means these predictions may not be accurate for individuals living elsewhere. Jørgensen also emphasized that this model should not fall into the hands of insurance companies, even though they may be using similar technologies on us.
Currently, Life2vec is not available to the public. However, the creators of this model suspect that it has been developed and is being utilized by major tech companies with vast datasets.
Despite ethical concerns, the use of this AI model has the potential to estimate a person’s lifespan with remarkable accuracy.
“Our model allows researchers to explore potential mechanisms affecting quality of life, as well as issues related to personalized interventions,” the Life2vec development team stated.
