A farmer in England bravely fought against a large fire by plowing his field to create a trench, preventing a massive wall of flames from invading his home.
Daily Mail reported that fire crews were called to the scene to tackle the large blaze that broke out in a field in Lenham Heath, located between Maidstone and Ashford in Kent, England, shortly before 3:15 PM local time on July 23.
The fire covered an area of approximately 8 hectares. A farmer named Bill Alexander used his tractor to carve a large path in the field, blocking the aggressive flames.

Mr. Andy Barr, the owner of the farm in Kent, praised his neighbor Bill for his heroic actions and shared images of the tractor blocking the fire on social media platform Twitter.
The fire was eventually extinguished after 90 minutes, and nearby residents were evacuated to safety. There have been no reports of casualties or the cause of the fire.
A series of wildfires have been reported across England this week amidst a heatwave that has pushed temperatures to a record high of 40.3 degrees Celsius.
Firefighters described the fires that destroyed homes in London earlier this week as resembling “hell.”
Wildfires are also raging in Wales, Scotland, and other parts of England due to the dry weather.
