This unusual story involves a dog-headed monkey named Reggie at the Devon Zoo in the UK. Three weeks ago, Reggie was born completely normal, weighing about half a kilogram and covered in fur, but…
Representatives from the zoo confirmed that dog-headed monkeys are born fully fur-covered and grow up that way as well. However, Reggie is experiencing hair loss and has become a “wonder” attracting visitors.
The reason for this is that Reggie’s mother is overly worried about her baby. Whenever she sees visitors, Reggie’s mother can only hold her baby tightly and lick his head with her tongue, as if to comfort him: “Don’t be afraid, my dear. Mommy is here!”, while also trying to reassure herself. Over time, Reggie’s head has lost all of its fur.
