A Mysterious Creature Washes Ashore at Telok Melano Beach (Malaysia), Attracting International Media Attention.

On April 5th, residents living near the Malaysian coast were astonished to discover a “giant mass of flesh” that had drifted onto Telok Melano Beach. Images of this mysterious creature were shared by the APM coastal rescue team on their Facebook page, showing local residents in fear upon seeing the shape of this enigmatic being.
Although there is no official conclusion yet, many believe that this giant mass of flesh is actually the carcass of a decomposing whale. According to Live Science, such masses are often referred to as “whale falls” and typically consist of the decomposed remains of whales, sharks, or octopuses. To gain a clearer understanding of this mass’s origin, scientists will conduct DNA sampling.

“On April 5, 2024, the APM coastal rescue team discovered the body of a stranded whale on Melano Bay Beach around 12:03 PM. At that time, the rescue team members were on duty and found the body while conducting surveillance around the beach.” – wrote the APM rescue team in their post.
