According to a statement from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the European Space Agency (ESA), a very small asteroid has entered Earth’s atmosphere but did not cause any significant impact.

Experts studying near-Earth objects from NASA and ESA detected this asteroid, which has a diameter of approximately 1 meter, on September 4.
According to NASA, the asteroid entered Earth’s atmosphere at 12:40 PM on September 4 (Eastern Daylight Time, which is 11:40 PM the same day in Vietnam) and created a fireball off the eastern coast of the Philippines.
Meanwhile, ESA reported that the asteroid entered Earth’s atmosphere near the island of Luzon in the Philippines.
