NASA Officials Do Not Deny the Existence of UAP, But Believe It Will Remain a Mystery Without Better Data.
UFO – also known as UAP, or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, has long been a mystery that perplexes the scientific community and military officials in their attempts to identify the origins of these unusual phenomena.

On May 31, NASA held its first public meeting to discuss the findings of an independent research team regarding these mysterious UAP.
During the meeting, Daniel Evans, NASA’s Assistant Deputy Administrator for Research, noted that public interest in UAP seems to be at an unprecedented level.
He also asserted that this issue requires rigorous scientific oversight. “This is important and provides an opportunity for us to expand our understanding of the world around us,” Evans stated.
However, he pointed out that current efforts to collect data on UAP are considered by experts to be unstructured or fragmented among different agencies.
Moreover, the data itself lacks a high level of reliability, as it often utilizes uncalibrated tools for scientific data collection.

Sean Kirkpatrick, Director of the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), agreed with this perspective, stating that most mysteries related to UAP are due to a lack of data concerning specific cases.
David Spergel, the chair of the research team and a former member of NASA’s advisory council, added that it is essential to maintain a scientific research foundation based on available data about UAP. Importantly, it is crucial not to reach unfounded conclusions.
NASA officials do not deny the existence of UAP but believe these phenomena will remain a mystery without better data.
“If we claim that we have seen something that is the product of non-human intelligence, then extraordinary evidence will be required,” he stated. “Clearly, we have not found that.”
This ambiguous conclusion left some unsatisfied, particularly those who believe in conspiracy theories regarding the existence of supernatural phenomena or extraterrestrial forces.
Recently, a report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) within the U.S. Department of Defense indicated that there are at least 510 Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) documented from various military-related agencies.
Some of these UAP exhibit strange movement patterns, such as “hovering in the wind at high altitudes, moving against the wind, making abrupt maneuvers, or moving at significant speeds without any clear propulsion.”
In 2021, retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Dr. Robert Jacobs publicly affirmed the existence of these objects. He suggested that “humans are not alone,” and the U.S. military may be concealing many “earth-shattering” secrets.
