Regarding the origins of humanity, throughout history, many theories and speculations have been proposed, with the most widely accepted being Charles Darwin’s theory of biological evolution, which posits that humans evolved from ancient primates on Earth through a long process of natural selection and mutation.
However, in recent years, some scientists have put forth a shocking perspective, suggesting that humans are not native to Earth but were meticulously designed and created by aliens.
They claim to have discovered a mysterious code within human DNA, which may be signals from intelligent extraterrestrial life hidden within our DNA, indicating that humans are the product of alien design. This perspective has sparked considerable debate and skepticism, while also offering us new insights and reflections on ourselves and the universe.

This idea was proposed by two Russian geneticists, Markus Chavekin and Vladimir Shmirov. After 13 years of research, they discovered that there is a numerical pattern and hieroglyphics within human DNA, and these symbols could represent signals from intelligent extraterrestrial life embedded in our genetic material.
They published a paper in 2019 titled “Signals in the Genetic Code of Earth”, detailing their findings and theories. They believe these signals suggest that humans were intentionally designed and created by aliens, rather than having evolved naturally.
In their paper, they wrote: “We propose a hypothesis that there is a source of intelligent signals in the living systems of Earth, and this signal source has left traces in the genetic code.”

The genetic code refers to how the information contained in DNA molecules is translated into protein molecules. A DNA molecule consists of four bases: adenine (A), cytosine (C), guanine (G), and thymine (T). These four bases are arranged in a specific order to form the double helix structure of DNA.
Every three bases form a codon, and each codon corresponds to a specific amino acid. Amino acids are the basic units of proteins. Thus, the information in DNA molecules is encoded and transmitted through codons. Markus Chavekin and Vladimir Shmirov found that within the genetic code, some codons exhibit mathematical patterns and special hieroglyphic-like symbols.
They referred to these codons as indicators of “the source of intelligent signals”. They discovered that the total number of bases in specific codons is 37, and 37 is a prime number, meaning it can only be divided evenly by 1 and itself.
They believe that prime numbers serve as a universal mathematical language that could be used to communicate with extraterrestrial intelligence. They also found that the total number of bases in some codons is 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and so on, all of which are divisible by 3. They believe this represents a hieroglyphic system capable of depicting various geometric shapes.

6 may symbolize a square, 9 may symbolize an equilateral triangle, 12 may symbolize a regular hexagon, 15 may symbolize a five-pointed star, 18 may symbolize a six-pointed star, and so on.
These two scientists believe that these mathematical patterns and hieroglyphic systems are signals deliberately left by intelligent extraterrestrial life within human DNA to demonstrate that humans were designed by aliens. Consequently, they proposed the hypothesis that humans were meticulously designed and created by extraterrestrial beings.
Markus Chavekin and Vladimir Shmirov argue that aliens utilized the existing materials and living conditions on Earth to modify genes and optimize primitive life, allowing it to evolve into modern humans. They wrote in their paper: “We believe there is an advanced intelligent living system on Earth that has left its mark in the genetic code and altered Earth’s living systems.” They suggest that extraterrestrials may have employed a computer-like approach to design human DNA. They refer to the aliens as “designers” and humans as “flesh-and-blood robots.”
After Markus and Shmirov’s paper was published, it quickly caused a sensation in the scientific community and society.

Many were surprised and curious about their perspective, while others were skeptical and critical of their views. Supporters assert that their discovery represents a significant breakthrough that offers a new perspective and explanation for the origins of humanity. The mathematical patterns and hieroglyphics they discovered are seen as highly complex and sophisticated designs that could not have arisen naturally or randomly.
Opponents argue that their findings are a form of pseudoscience lacking sufficient evidence and logic. They believe the discovered mathematical patterns and hieroglyphics are mere coincidences or resulted from biases during the research process. Such patterns and symbols hold no special or universal meaning and do not possess any functional impact; they are simply random occurrences or products of natural evolution in the genetic code.
