The Olympus Corporation (Japan) has just launched the world’s smallest medical endoscope. With a diameter of only 3.2 mm, which is 0.7 mm thinner than the current smallest endoscope, this new product allows doctors to easily observe the most “remote” areas within the ears, throat, and nasal cavities of children.
This device will begin selling in Japan and the United States at the beginning of next month, priced at 2.1 million yen per unit (approximately 18,600 USD).
