Recent research conducted by American scientists indicates that children with higher IQs tend to live longer than those with lower IQs.
The research team surveyed 862 elderly individuals and found that those who had higher IQ scores as children generally enjoyed longer lifespans. Specifically, individuals who had an IQ of 150 in childhood had a 44% lower risk of mortality compared to those with an IQ of 135. Although the relationship between childhood IQ and longevity remains unclear, it can be asserted that children who engage in healthy habits, such as exercising and avoiding tobacco, tend to have even greater lifespans.
