A herd of cows was leisurely walking down the road after a day of grazing when suddenly a creature charged in to attack. The large cows quickly ran away, but a calf was unable to escape the clutches of the predator.

The video, extracted from a security camera, has quite low quality. However, according to the uploader on YouTube, this was a tiger and the incident took place in India – a place where tigers and humans coexist.

A moment later, one of the cows returned to confront the predator, forcing it to retreat. This gave the herd more confidence, and they banded together to protect their member. The calf was still able to stand up and run back towards its herd for safety.
