The snake hiding on the porch lunged straight at the man’s face.
The unfortunate man is named Jerel Heywood. After ringing the doorbell and opening the door to a friend’s house, he was unexpectedly bitten in the face by a snake that had been lurking on the porch.
Startled by the sudden attack, Jerel screamed in fear. Hearing his terrified cries, a neighbor quickly ran over, used a hammer to catch the snake, and killed it.
“I was bitten in the face by the snake, but I didn’t know what kind it was. Later, I went to the hospital for a check-up, and fortunately, the snake was not venomous,” Jerel shared.
Mr. Rodney, the homeowner, stated that the snake was nearly 1.7 meters long and had likely crawled onto the porch to seek shelter from the rain.
