This is a 97-year-old Indian man who has “never known what it is to get a haircut.”
Mr. Doddapalliah in India.
Mr. Doddapalliah, residing in the town of Molakalmuru, claims that his hair can grow up to 7.3 meters long, coiled on his head and neatly wrapped in cloth for mobility.
He states that he has never cut a single centimeter of hair since the day he was born. Thus, the thick, coarse locks that resemble ropes have always “ruled” atop his head.
Although he is considered the person with the longest time without a haircut, Mr. Doddapalliah’s 7.3 meters of hair is still not the longest in the world.
This record belongs to Mr. Rapunzel Nott Savjibhai Rathwa, who boasts hair measuring up to 19 meters. Unfortunately, neither of these gentlemen with extraordinary hair has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records.
