A woman encountered an unbelievable accident while she was in her own garden: A snake fell from the sky, landing on her arm, and moments later, a hawk swooped down and clawed at her.
It is certainly unfortunate for someone tending to their garden to be attacked by a wild animal. Yet, this woman faced attacks from not one, but two wild creatures!
Peggy Jones from Silsbee, Texas, is the unfortunate individual who experienced this bizarre incident, according to Click2Houston.
Recently, while Peggy was mowing the lawn in her garden, a snake suddenly fell from the sky and struck her – it felt like a scene from a horror movie.

But it didn’t just hit her; the snake immediately coiled tightly around her arm. While Peggy was still stunned and unable to react to the shock, a hawk dove down, using its talons to repeatedly scratch her arm in an attempt to retrieve the snake. It then dawned on Peggy that the hawk had caught the snake but accidentally dropped it while flying, and now it was trying to reclaim its prey.
In that moment, the snake tightened its grip on Peggy’s arm while the hawk attacked even more fiercely. In fear, Peggy could only scream: “Help me! Help me!”
Fortunately (for Peggy, not the snake), the hawk eventually managed to snatch the snake away and flew off with its catch. Meanwhile, Peggy’s arm was bruised and bleeding. At that moment, her husband heard her cries for help and rushed to assist her.
Peggy was quickly taken to the hospital, as her family feared she had been bitten by the snake. Fortunately (once again), doctors confirmed that there were no snake bites on her arm, only “merely” bruises from the snake’s grip and cuts from the hawk’s claws.

What’s remarkable is that Peggy is very positive. While many people might consider her unlucky, she stated: “I feel like the luckiest person to have survived this incident.” Her husband joked that from now on, she should watch out for both the ground and the sky while gardening.
