On the evening of December 26, Mr. Lưu Minh Hải, Director of the Lao Cai Meteorological and Hydrological Station, reported that around 3:30 PM to 3:32 PM, snow fell on the summit of Fansipan with light intensity. At the time of the snowfall, there was also light rain, which made the snowflakes less bright.
According to Mr. Hải, this cold spell could last for 2-3 days. The temperature in Sa Pa town in the coming days will range from 4-6 degrees Celsius, while at the summit of Fansipan, temperatures will drop below 0 degrees.
