World’s Leading Lingerie Brand Introduces Innovative Heating Bra in Japan
A leading lingerie brand has joined a fuel-saving campaign in Japan by launching a unique bra that can warm the human body.
This bra is made of soft white fabric and features eco-friendly gel padding. The gel can easily be warmed up in a microwave or with a hot water bottle. At the center of the bra, there is a decorative piece shaped like a chili pepper that dangles playfully. The design also includes a matching cotton scarf.
The brand, Triumph, released this bra after Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi urged officials to abandon neckties to conserve air conditioning energy.
Due to the padding, the bra appears slightly larger than typical designs, but Triumph’s Japan branch insists that the product still looks very appealing. “We hope this product will not only help combat global warming but also introduce a new fashion style in the office,” they stated.
Currently, the product is only showcased as a sample – the first step towards mass production of eco-friendly clothing.
The Japanese government is encouraging people not to set their room heating above 20 degrees Celsius this coming winter to reduce fuel consumption and save energy resources.
