According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today and tonight (June 15), the Northern region and Thanh Hoa province will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms, with rainfall amounts generally between 10-20mm.
In particular, Hanoi may have moments of rain and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of whirlwinds, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind. There is a high to very high risk of flash floods and landslides in the mountainous provinces of the North, as well as flooding in low-lying and swampy areas.

Additionally, today, the area from Quang Binh to Phu Yen will only experience localized heat, with maximum temperatures generally between 35-36 degrees Celsius, and some areas exceeding 36 degrees. The lowest relative humidity during the day will range from 55-65%. The duration of temperatures above 35 degrees will be from 1 PM to 4 PM.
However, from June 16-17, the heat may increase and spread more widely again.
The Central Highlands and Southern region will continue to experience hot weather during the day, with scattered thunderstorms in the evening.
