Scientists in Samara, Russia, are developing a special type of glasses known as anti-insomnia glasses. This device is designed to help people quickly adapt to changes in time zones and can overcome states of depression.
The special glasses, called Blue Sky Pro, will be manufactured at the electric-mechanical plant of the Rostec Group in Russia.

The Blue Sky Pro glasses are being developed in collaboration with scientists from the National Research University of Russia. The function of this smart device is to combat insomnia and prevent sleep disorders.
When using the glasses, the user’s daily biological rhythm is quickly restored, which is especially important in environments lacking natural light, such as homes or offices.
The working principle of this product is relatively simple: when the user wears the glasses, the lenses emit light similar to sunlight. This light affects the retina, stimulating the activity of brain cells.
Thus, if users wear these glasses during the morning hours from 6 to 10 AM and from 2 to 6 PM, for about 30 minutes each time, their sleep cycle will be completely restored.
Mr. Vasily Mukhin, director of the Rostec Group plant, stated: “The light emitted by the smart glasses will influence brain activity and the functioning of the biological clock. If worn in the morning, it helps users shake off drowsiness, while wearing it in the evening allows users to ‘set aside’ drowsiness until 11 PM.”
During the day, if you feel drowsy, you can use the Blue Sky Pro glasses for about 15 minutes, which helps shift the nighttime biological rhythm to daytime (during the early morning) and delays the onset of drowsiness in the early evening.
When working night shifts, the Blue Sky Pro glasses will help you return to a normal biological rhythm, so during breaks, you won’t suffer from sleep deprivation.
In addition to the aforementioned benefits, experts also confirm that this new product can significantly improve conditions related to depression, lack of concentration, and endocrine neurological disorders.
This product has been tested in the Arctic under nighttime conditions.
