The gas station, developed by the China National Petroleum Corporation, is located along a highway leading to Lhasa Airport in the Tibet Autonomous Region.
Smart recognition technology, which combines 2D and 3D vision, enables the robots to accurately locate and navigate, allowing them to adapt well to various parking scenarios.
The robotic arms and fuel dispensers are designed separately and equipped with safety features to prevent fires and other safety hazards during refueling, while also ensuring the protection of personal property.
All core components of the robots have over 90% localization, making them resilient to low temperatures, high altitudes, and strong ultraviolet rays.
Customers can activate the robots via an app with the push of a button, eliminating the need to exit their vehicles or have direct contact when using the service.
The launch of the first fully automated gas station in Xinjiang marks a new phase in the development and application of refueling robots by the China National Petroleum Corporation.
