A black and yellow striped snake has become a meal for the king cobra (scientific name: Ophiophagus hannah). This snake opened its mouth wide in an aggressive display to threaten its enemy, but of course, the king cobra is not easily intimidated.

The black and yellow snake even retaliated with a painful bite, but with its venom, it could not pose any challenge to the king cobra. Ultimately, the king cobra used its venom to paralyze and consume its prey.
Despite being a black and yellow striped snake, the one that was eaten is not a banded krait (scientific name: Bungarus fasciatus) but rather a tree snake (scientific name: Boiga dendrophila), which is a mildly venomous species that can grow to over 2 meters in length.
